Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (»Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍøPDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø departments. The purpose of the »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍøPDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø community

To provide liaison between »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍøPDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍøPDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
